At present there are over 15,000 Internet radio stations available and in order to keep favorite stations handy, the RT-09 includes 30 programmable presets for instantaneous access to FM, DAB and Internet broadcasts. The RT-09 also streams music files from a PC using Windows Media Player 11 or 12 over a Wi-Fi or wired LAN Ethernet connection, and can be controlled via bi-directional RS-232, as well as discrete IR. What is just as remarkable as the flexibility, performance and technology of the RT-09 is its affordability for such a sophisticated component. The RT-09 continues the Rotel tradition of offering value for money that is second to none.

UPnP streaming from PC has been optimized
for Windows Media Player 11/12. WMP11
supports WMA, WAV, MP3, AIFF codecs; WMP12 adds AAC support. Other UPnP servers
will be recognized but have not been verified.
