Chord SuperScreen Mains Cable
The SuperScreen mains cable employs the same dual foil shielding that is used on the award-winning Carnival SilverScreen speaker cable.
The twin foils are surrounded by the same PVC that has been used on the Power Chord. The moulded IEC and mains plugs gave us the chance to experiment with internal wiring configurations and the moulded plugs are fitted using our chosen configuration and measurements.
Mains cables have become as critical to a system’s performance as interconnects and speaker cable and the SuperScreen is a perfect introduction to the performance enhancing benefits of high performance mains cables.
CONDUCTORS: 3 14 AWG high purity multi-strand copper conductors.
CONFIGURATION: Parallel conductor layout, dual layer floating shield
DIELECTRIC (INSULATION): PVC
SHIELDING: Dual layer high frequency effective foil shield
JACKET: High density vibration damping outer jacket COLOUR: Blue.
TERMINATIONS: The Chord SuperScreen mains cable is fitted with high performance moulded UK mains and IEC plugs. Moulded plugs fitted, using wiring layouts developed by us to enhance performance. LENGTHS: Available in 1, 1.5 and 2 metre lengths.
